English demo for “LOOP THE LOOP – The Mansion of Gluttony” is now available!

Hello, this is sweet ampoule, an indie circle from Japan.

Today we’re releasing the English demo for our mystery visual novel LOOP THE LOOP – The Mansion of Gluttony here on itch.io. This title is a closed-circle mystery with a darker, more suspenseful atmosphere.

● What is “LOOP THE LOOP – The Mansion of Gluttony”?

LOOP THE LOOP – The Mansion of Gluttony is a closed-circle mystery visual novel about twelve people trapped in a Western-style mansion with no way out, as a string of murders begins to unfold.

You read the story from the perspective of Remi, a high school boy who wishes he could escape his everyday life. By following his thoughts and conversations, you slowly piece together the truth behind the murders and the mansion itself.

The game is a linear visual novel with no choices, and the full story takes around 8–12 hours to read, depending on your reading speed. In Japan, it was originally released as a mobile visual novel and became the first entry in a long-running mystery series with over 200,000 downloads across the series.

● What’s included in this demo?

This free demo contains:

The prologue and Chapter 1 of the story

Approximately 1–2 hours of reading (depending on your pace)

The demo (and full game) supports both Japanese and English, and you can switch languages at any time from the title screen.

The English version also includes an in-game Glossary (Culture Note) that explains Japanese cultural terms, honorifics, food, and other references that appear in the text, so you can enjoy the setting without breaking the flow of reading. Japanese language learners and people interested in Japanese culture may also find this Culture Note enjoyable on its own.

● Full version release (Steam)

The full version of LOOP THE LOOP – The Mansion of Gluttony is planned for release on Steam. On itch.io, we intend to provide the demo only, while the complete game will be available on Steam.

This is the first official English release in the series, with the script adapted under the direct supervision of the original writer (me) to preserve the characters’ voices and tone.
